A Cappella at
UT Austin

Fuse A Cappella was established as a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin in the spring semester of 2014. It was founded to unite a focused group of students across all majors, hometowns, and backgrounds, by their love of singing. This group allows all types of students to continue making music throughout their university career. This remains its purpose, but it has since evolved into a selective, coed, collegiate a cappella group that competes, serves its community, and performs on and off campus.

As an organization rich in a variety of passions, interests, and backgrounds, the founders of Fuse A Cappella formulated four pillars that describe what the organization values most.

Performance

Music is something to be shared, and we aim to communicate with our audiences through performance.

Diversity

Our different backgrounds and perspectives enrich our music and inform our performances.

Self-Improvement

Intrinsically, a group of people is composed of individuals. We seek to grow as individuals and prosper as a group.

Family

Fuse is not simply a group of people that meet regularly to sing and perform—it is a family.
